Moms don't get to call in sick

It’s tough to hear when people say being a mom is not a job and that you do nothing all day.
Daycare centers and baby sitters get paid because it’s a job right? And they even get to go home after the day is over. So do landscapers and yard workers, taxi drivers, chef’s, animal groomers, dog walkers, dry cleaners, carpet cleaners, house keepers, teachers, nurses, computer operators, janitor, facilities manager, psychologists and even circus clowns (you know you act
like a clown to entertain the kids once in a while). Those occupations all get paid to do their job.
Personally my "lunch" break is my daughter's nap, IF she takes one.

A mom does ALL those things and gets no monetary payment. However, being able to be with the kids all the time and raise them makes the value of staying at home priceless.

Moms have a heavy work load and work long hours. Before you mutter something under your breath or shoot a nasty look at a mom in the grocery store who’s kids are acting up…. remember the heavy work load and long hours she is putting in and list of occupations she still has to accomplish for that day.

Moms don't get to call in sick.

Enjoy being a mom all day!
